When working with my clients, I noticed something and I wanted to share this with you!
You won’t hear me say this phrase very often if ever again… but in this situation, if you’re a woman, this is the time to start thinking like a man!
It is a well-known fact that men and women think differently about almost everything! When it comes to applying for jobs, it’s no different.
A man will check out a job description, and it may say:
“You need to complete a handstand and a cartwheel in order to be considered for this role”. A man is likely to say, “I can’t do that but hey, I can do a roll over”. Therefore, he’ll complete his application and send it off.
A woman will look at the same job description, and think “Hey, I can do the handstand, but I can’t do the cartwheel. OK, let’s move on, I can’t do this job”. Basically, most women will want to know that they are able to do 99% of what’s covered in the job description before even considering applying!
Come on admit it! Follow my advice below to start getting more opportunities landing your way.
Come on ladies… Is this job really outside your limits? Only you will know…and if you’re really unsure go and have a chat with someone who knows you, you may be pleasantly surprised!
