If you have recently read my book (or you’re going to!) you can catch it here… you’ll know by now I’m not a fan of the wait and see game. Let’s ping that CV/Resume over to the job site or the company that is hiring and ‘wait and see’.

So how do you take back control? Well, you recognise that there is more than one way to skin a cat so to speak…

So, I wanted to share with you, another way I work with clients, that shows you how to do a complete spin on the traditional cover letter!

This knocks this on it’s head! It’s what I call the Show & Tell Letter.  The Show & Letter is all about Monetising YOU.  It’s about you taking proactive action, it’s about you showing the HIRING MANAGER that you understand their issues (remember how many times I have said you only get hired because they have a problem, my friend) and it’s about SHOWING them – and TELLING them that you are the solution to this very problem!

So imagine, you sent this type of letter to the HIRING MANAGER, not the HR manager but direct to the manager with the problem! Can you now see the control you would take back?  Can you now see how this is going to be a powerful tool in getting YOU hired?

Because you are SHOWING that you understand their issues and YOU’RE telling them you’re the solution.
