Begin before you’re ready!

This is a big one, so many people want perfection, now! They won’t start or do anything until it is PERFECT.

The thing is you LEARN by doing, NOT by being perfect. You perfect your plan as you go along. So, what I am saying to you is, you need to begin before you feel totally ready.

Of course you can get a little more professional help, by speaking to a global career coach for example, so you don’t waste your time. However you start NOW! Not next week, not even next year – today!

Because, if you are waiting to build your reputation or if you waiting for X to happen before you look for that next job – well I’ve got to be honest with you; you’re just making excuses and excuses bore me to death! I’m all about action, I am all about moving forward and I’m fully all about just moving in the RIGHT direction. So, take some of the perfectionism away for a second and just move forward, because if you are NOT moving in the direction you want to move in each day, you are in fact moving away from what you want. The trick is to START now.

I’ll give you a great example of how procrastination is damaging. I spent time thinking, thinking and thinking about doing Live Streams. I hate to say it, but I was probably thinking about this for around 4 months! 4 Months of just thinking about it! I finally reached a place where I said to myself, “just do it and work it all out as you go!”.

Once the decision was made, I then sent out an email to my community saying, I am doing a Live Stream every week – on a Thursday. Then I committed myself further by sending out another email saying come and join me…In fact, why don’t you join me THIS week – that sure put the pressure on me to move!So back to you – want have you been putting off?

BIG question? Why?

Is it a a valid reason or just an excuse? 99.9% it’s an excuse recognise your own B*******!
